The Historic Counties Gateway has been developed to catalogue descriptions, histories and prose about the counties. The Gateway aims to be a resource for researchers, archivists and all who are just interested to read about the counties. Whilst  the project is in its infancy at the moment, it is hoped that it will expand as the ABC and members of the public contribute to the project.
