The Oxfordshire Association, one of our county associations sent in the following news:

The Oxfordshire Association are delighted to hear that local fencing club, Salle Oxon chose the Association’s proposal for an Oxfordshire Flag – the St Frideswide Cross – for their club badge.

Sara Williams of the club said, “I’d read about the Oxfordshire Flag in the local paper and liked the design a lot; it had the simplicity we needed and was colourful enough to stand out well against the white of fencing jackets.”

The full story can be found in the press release on the Oxfordshire Association’s website.
