The Warwickshire Society

Warwickshire Society launched

The Warwickshire Society is a new organisation which aims to promote pride in the great county of Warwickshire, celebrate its traditions and educate people about its history. Initially the Society will focus on promoting the Warwickshire flag which was registered on August 15th 2016. The flag is a modern reworking of the county’s traditional emblem of white bear and ragged staff on red background, which originated as the seal and then crest, of the Earl of Warwick. The Society is also looking to establish an annual Warwickshire Day on which to celebrate the county.  The Society’s Facebook page can be found at  The Warwickshire Society.
