There currently isn’t a Hampshire county flag. However, this does not stop the people of Hampshire from being involved in Historic County Flags Day.
The flag featured on this page is the design proposed by Michael Jacobs. If you like this proposal or have one of your own, we would still like to see Hampshire represented on Historic County Flags Day!
Use the hashtag #CountyFlagsDay on your photo/image on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Alternatively you can email us your picture to countyflagsday@abcounties.com.
Michael uses the same Rose and Crown design of the proposed Association of British Counties’ Hampshire Flag, however with differing field colours. The green represents the Downs and the blue the Solent with their positions. The white stripe is for the chalk of Hampshire.
Michael plans to fly this flag on Butser Hill on Historic County Flags Day with his father. We look forward to seeing his picture of this.
Please let us know which Hampshire proposal you prefer by emailing us… countyflagsday@abcounties.com.
Colour in Hampshire!
