About the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Regional Group

The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Regional Group was the first regional group set up by the Association of British Counties. The strong links between the three counties it represents provides a strong ground for inter-county activities. Notably, the establishment of flags for Berkshire and Oxfordshire provides an example of how the regional group hopes to promote the identities of the counties in an inter-county campaign.

Residence in a county is not a prerequisite for a sense of belonging. Indeed where we live now, where we grew up, and where we might hope to live, all influence how we identify with the counties. We hope you will join us on this journey of rediscovery and share your experiences.
