Bedfordshire Day is celebrated each year on 28th November, the birthday of John Bunyan. The celebration in 2023 was the biggest yet. Huge thanks are due to our friends at The Friends of Bedfordshire Society and to the many people and organisations which took part. We present some photos from the day’s celebrations.

  • What an excellent initiative. Were all schools made aware of the significance of the day? It would be good to think that such an important local figure as John Bunyan was known and will be remembered.
Although the flag is a pleasing addition, it is such a pity that the previous armorial bearings for Bedfordshire have been lost.
