Historic County Flags Day 2024 has been another spectacular celebration of our county heritage. Our thanks are due to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government for once again displaying the county flags in Parliament Square for the week. All those county flags included in the Flag Institute’s Flag Registry are on display. The recently registered flags of Berwickshire, Banffshire and Morayshire are joining the display for the first time this year. If you can, get down to Parliament Square and enjoy the show. And remember, a county flag is for every day of the year, not just for Historic County Flags Day!
