County Days come thick and fast in the summer months. It’s hard to keep up! Our thanks to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government for once again flying the county flags in Parliament Square for the week of Historic County Flags Day (23rd July). We present some highlights from Historic County Flags Day and from recent county days 😄

Huge thanks to Sunderland City Council for flying the County Durham flag on Historic County Flags Day (Thursday 23rd July). South Tyneside, County Durham, Darlington and Stockton-on-Tees councils now also fly the county flag on County Durham Day and/or Historic County Flags Day. We’re working on Gateshead and Hartlepool 😃
